The University of Kentucky will take on the UNLV Rebels tonight in the first round of the NIT for the right to continue the season. This will be no easy task as this same UNLV team beat Louisville earlier this season on the road, and if UK does not come ready to play the season will be over tonight. Hopefully the Cats will come out relaxed and ready to go play, while winning the NIT is never the goal a good run in the tournament could go a long way in building towards next year and salvaging part of this season.
After the game is over you can be sure to find a full breakdown of the game right here.

In the next couple of days I will have a very long post on the tough decision that is facing the UK athletic department in the next couple of weeks on the status of Billy Gillispie.
On Thursday and Friday I will be broadcasting live hereall day discussing the first round of the tournament and anything else that comes to your mind so come on over and say hello.
